Snares 03:30
Gnawing at my leg To bleed out on my own terms Foaming at the mouth Growing colder in the sunshine My heart is pounding, my legs keep shaking All I want is to move How did I get here? A heavy ego around my ankles All of my heroes are pushing daisies Drive off the causeway, into the South Bay I’m pushing algae soon Put me down, put me into the ground Put me down, put me out of my misery Right now, seems right to pack up my shit ‘cause it’s over soon The face of my clock never seems to smile Which I get, I tick all night, too A heavy ego around my ankles All of my heroes are pushing daisies Drive off the causeway, into the south bay I’m pushing algae soon Put me down, put me into the ground Put me down, put me out of my misery

Delirium 03:27
The mortar in between the bricks align a smile Wrought iron evidence, my ship has sailed and isn’t coming back Got it in the ear again Maybe I’m the sum of my misdeeds Drag my tin can over the bars I’m not going back No, No, No I’m not coming back No, No, No, No I’d rather sleep forever than engage in this song and dance I’d rather disappear than try to fake a smile A masquerade of charlatans, a complex allegory I’d rather disappear again I’m not going back No, No, No I’m not coming back No, No, No, No Take me out Put me back Take me out Put me back

By my estimation All my dreams will be realized in Just shy of six months time Just wait tables on the side You can really make it here You can blow up like the Kosciuszko You can really make it here Fly like a cadillac over the graveyard To die young, of consumption To carry on, like carrion To eat what you say you are Experience is art in motion You can really make it here You can blow up like the Kosciuszko You can really make it here Fly like a cadillac over the graveyard New York City came through with Everything it promised me I just think your sense of humor Is a bit too tongue in cheek You can really make it here You can blow up like the Kosciuszko You can really make it here Fly like a cadillac over the graveyard New York City came through with Everything it promised me I just think your sense of humor Is a bit too much, a bit too much I can’t be myself or left alone I can’t park my car or stand the cold I can’t hear myself or trust this bridge I can’t fucking stand, I can’t fucking sit

August Song 03:14
All our lies about, what we’re like slip out My resume and epitaph read waiting for payment, pay no mind Everything I want from life is just wasting, wasting time To sell you on all my skills I’m just Licking, spitting silver tongues A go between, looking to stay In a simple world of have nots Drunk on tomorrow’s endorphins All climax, no plot no plot A go between, looking to leave Too clean, too clean of a world to look for Fall back on leaves of grass Fall off the roof and onto the ground floor Everything I want from life is just wasting, wasting time To sell you on all my skills I’m just Licking, spitting silver tongues Everything I want from life is just wasting, wasting time To sell you on all my skills I’m just Licking, spitting silver tongues Hazy moments, clearing my head Once in a while is all it takes Waiting for tomorrow’s paper Headlines with no taste taste Parity with a sharpened knife Too dark, too dark of a path to find Verily, the very thing that animates Merrily, my heart and bones and something else Can’t compete with all of the necessities Like love and hate and family and stability Verily, the very thing that animates Merrily, my heart and bones and something else Can’t compete with all of the necessities Like love and hate and family and stability Everything I want from life is just wasting, wasting time To sell you on all my skills I’m just Licking, spitting silver tongues Everything I want from life is just wasting, wasting time To sell you on all my skills I’m just Licking, spitting silver tongues

Gravity 03:21
Dreams I have of falling down May or may not wake me up The black holes inside hearts of men Eat up light and foes alike Dreams I have of falling down May or may not wake me up The black holes inside hearts of men Eat up light and foes alike (Dreams) Dreams I have of falling down (I) May or may not wake me up (Have) The black holes inside hearts of men Eat up light and foes alike (Dreams) Dreams I have of falling down (I) May or may not wake me up (Have) The black holes inside hearts of men Eat up light and foes alike

Loner 03:36
Plot out the course to expose my nerves And compose an abstraction of rage Calm down, it was nothing Calm down, you didn’t mean Calm down, there’s no need to raise your voice Endless, nameless, captured forever In a turbulent, binary sea Expressing yourself in a public place Can be a very dangerous thing Who do you want to be today? What face best fits their expectations? Who do you want to be today? What face best fits their expectations? The world is a very complicated place Yeah, that’s fine. So am I for sure Everybody wants this moment forever I want to maintain my composure Endless, nameless, captured forever In a turbulent, binary sea This is the art of being a loner

Nomenclature 03:10
Maybe you’re right and nothing changed And nothing will and everything’s bad And the world is trash At least that’s what you said to me last time A rose by any other definition may or may not smell as sweet But we’re two different things, we’re two different things With the same name I’ll fake it and lie, fake it and lie This thrift store disguise has no taste I’ll fake it and lie, fake it and lie I’ll fake it and lie, to hide the shame Maybe your hand is full of shit Well maybe you are But so is mine, and so am I But if you change the rules, you’re not playing the game You’re not playing the game I’ll fake it and lie, fake it and lie This thrift store disguise has no taste I’ll fake it and lie, fake it and lie

January Song 03:25
Karma pays off in dividends I can smell red herring on your breath We both know what you’re gonna say But we both know, we both know That you took the bait, that you took the bait The strawman burned down from the inaugural crowd Power trip Violet robe, violence below But we both know, we both know That you took the bait, that you took the bait All our lies about, what we’re like. Slip out

These words we trade are all the same I pace outside, in freezing rain I want to be left to myself But I don’t want to feel alone I’m staying home I’m going out I checked my phone And threw it out Pick one it’s all the same to me

Small Talk 03:16
As pure as a dirty glass, broken by the marchers For whom we should forgive once and for all We have lost our way With roadmaps of civility, spinning us in circles Draped in pleasantries from to to quo Stripping us as bare as the day we were born Nothing to say, one thing to say Tell me your thoughts on the administration This is the mouth from which every conversation flows Contradictions of a sheltered life Never ending noise of a ratified lie We have lost our way With slogans on our bumper cars And affectations of a scripted call And the medications of a triage ward With bleeding hearts and broken syntax of a doctor’s note But now it’s over Nothing to say, one thing to say Tell me your thoughts on the administration This is the mouth from which every conversation flows

Stinger 04:08
I wanted someone to save me when the house started shaking But nobody would (nobody would) I took the parts of my ego and glued them together As well as I could (As well as I could) I settled in settled for this settlement on the rising shores I wanted someone to save me when the house started sinking But I just learned to swim Droning on and on and on about that honey for your hive My stinger’s in you in self defense, don’t pull it out because All I wanna be when I grow up is breathing Looked up in the air and only found the ground Waiting for the world and let it burn Listen for a voice, couldn’t hear a sound Look down Droning on and on and on about that honey for your hive My stinger’s in you in self defense, don’t pull it out because All I wanna be when I grow up is breathing Droning on and on and on about that honey for your hive My stinger’s in you in self defense, don’t pull it out because All I wanna be when I grow up is breathing

A plethora of angels, no more snowmen left Too old to wish for much, but summer break would never end Cake’s run out of candles, be careful what you’re hoping for Second coming’s much more often now Seeing shadows never more Let’s run out the clock together Paper says wait till tomorrow Credits atrophy and die The whole world burns just like a dumpster Yeah, that’s rough but not for me and mine Class is cancelled due to apathy Armed and tragic and willfully blind Hope is a barren harlot Why don’t we run out the clock together? Let’s run out the clock together Light from the snow reflects through our window On we, for whom it’s reserved The blackness, the darkness forever Empty and without form Light from the snow reflects through our window On we, for whom it’s reserved The blackness, the darkness forever Empty and without form Let’s run out the clock together

about

Kosciuszko captures what it feels like to be a person right now. Leaning in to the feelings behind the politics, the album serves as a bridge connecting the two warring sides inside most of us right now. The side that tells you to scream and fight for everything you’ve ever held dear and the side that’s demanding you go home and give it all up.

All proceeds from this album will be donated to the ACLU while they keep fighting for all of us.
